The innovative technology of this system allows us to visualise your perfect end result on a virtual 3D model even before treatment begins. Based on a scan of the jaw, a digital model of the teeth is created, which allows us to determine the desired result before the actual treatment. Depending on the desired result, each bracket and wire is manufactured individually for each patient to ensure the most effective, gentle and rapid treatment possible. Each product is made to the exact prescription developed and approved by the orthodontist. Each new Insignia case is supplied with customised brackets, tubes and arches which, together with the transfer gauges, help to position the appliance perfectly. The result is a comfortable treatment with precise and predictable results that often take less time than expected.   • The Insignia treatment procedure

    1. Comprehensive counselling 


    At the beginning of each treatment in our practice there is a detailed assessment with the patient. You receive all the necessary information about the individual treatment method and the choice of the most suitable attachments. 


     


    2. Digital dental impression / 3D model creation 


    With the help of a digital intraoral scanner, you now obtain an accurate dental impression. This eliminates the need for bothersome silicone impressions. The digital impression is automatically transferred to the INSIGNIA laboratory. 


     


    3. Treatment programme / design with INSIGNIA software 


    In the next step, the treatment concept is worked out. After recording all the individual details for the dental correction, the INSIGNIA software prepares the precise images together with the dental data and calculates the optimal result for you, which we can later refine according to your and our ideas. 


    The 3-D image shows us your customised treatment, on which we can already evaluate the final result. 


     


    4. Execution of INSIGNIA braces 


    Each individual attachment is customised to suit the shape and structure of the tooth. These attachments and arches are positioned on your teeth with the help of a precise attachment holder, as planned and previewed with the INSIGNIA software.
